Sunday at the Baby Soiree

Wow, what an exhausting, but great day at the Original Baby Soiree at the Yorkville Intercontinental Hotel.  I have never been among so many beautiful expectant (and new) mothers and gorgeous babies, it was great.

All my hard work and long nights in preparation for the show paid off!

It was a great opportunity to meet many other fabulous women entrepreneurs who work tirelessly to make their businesses a success which inspired me to work even harder to make Swag Barn bigger and better.

Girly pieces for the girly girl!

I have had so much fun in the past few weeks making feather hair pieces for babies and little girls and the prep for the Original Baby Soiree has been craziness! 

I had three wonderful little girls take over my living room on Saturday to create these photos.  Thank you Kiara (Sara), Mikaela and Brenna (Shannon) for offering your gorgeous selves to me so I can show my hair pieces so beautifully.

 

I have also made some pieces for babies.  The white pieces are perfect for Christenings. 

Hoping to see you all at the show this weekend, until then I have a lot more work to do!!

Our Vegas Wedding

Sooo... we are back, and married!  Whoohoo!  Las Vegas was amazing and I thoroughly believe that our 35 guests had an amazing time.  I have to thank them all again for coming all the way to Nevada to celebrate with us.

Wedding countdown...

OK, so it's been a while since I posted something about my own upcoming wedding...

32 days

I can't believe it!

I still have a huge list of things to do, including making my own hair accessory (guess I better get on it).  I've been fortunate to have made several different hair pieces for brides this past summer and it has helped me decide what I'd like for my own piece.  A combination of all of them please!

Since the wedding is in Las Vegas, the details are a sometimes difficult to get organized.  All communication with the Wynn Las Vegas has been via email and phone and there are limited photos to go by i.e. restaurants for wedding reception etc.  Nevertheless, I'm sure everything will work out and it will be a blast!

We are lucky enough to have 39 guests joining us, which is much more than we anticipated.  I guess this means that everyone just A) loves us so much OR B) really needs a vacation!  lol.

I'll definitely post photos of my hair piece when it is (finally!) done.
